Jewel Mounts

JewelMounts is a UK-based B2B jewellery platform connecting independent jewellery retailers with their customers online. When they came to us, they had no unified tech system product management, retailer onboarding, bespoke orders, and customer checkout were all handled manually or through disconnected tools.

We became their dedicated tech team, building the entire platform from scratch and maintaining it on a monthly retainer. The system now handles hundreds of retailers, thousands of products with complex variations, and a seamless bespoke ordering flow that sets them apart from standard jewellery e-commerce.

1. The core challenge was product complexity each jewellery item could have 200+ variations across metal type, stone, size, finish, and custom engraving. Standard e-commerce solutions couldn't handle this, so we built a custom product configuration engine from scratch.
2. The second challenge was the bespoke ordering flow customers needed to describe custom pieces, upload reference images, and get quotes from retailers, all within the platform. We built a full bespoke request system with status tracking, messaging, and quote approval.
3. Third was the retailer portal trade customers needed different pricing, bulk ordering, and account management. We built a completely separate retailer-facing interface within the same platform.
